Nobody knows oysters more than a guy raised in Ohio and then living in Montana and North Dakota, lol. We are fortunate in North Dakota to have great fish mongers who get the "goods" to us.
What you will need
One dozen live oysters
1 tablespoon butter
1 tablespoon olive oil
dash of Worcestershire sauce and garlic powder
1/2 cup of Lil' Bird Dog BBQ sauce
Warm until blended well
Whole oysters were placed on grill cup side down on a Green Egg at about 450 degrees F. After 2-3 minutes the oysters open and the top shell was removed keeping the internal liquor. A spoonful of the heated sauce is placed in each oyster and cooked for 2 more minutes. Serve thereafter, listen for the oohs and ahs.
